Founder Story

While completing SQE1 and SQE2 myself, with such a huge amount of law to cover, I found it incredibly difficult to know exactly what I actually needed to learn and memorise for the exams. I had tons of textbooks but I was ending up with hundreds of pages of notes, and my revision felt overwhelming. 

I wanted to make revision much clearer: a book that showed me exactly what I needed to know, with space to write my own notes in a concise and organised way. I spent about a month manually working through the SRA specification point / syllabus, breaking each area down into clear questions (with no AI assistance) and turning it into a workbook. It meant all of my notes were finally in one place, in a condensed format. It genuinely made studying for the exams so much easier and satisfying too!

After passing both SQE's, I decided to turn what helped me pass into a product to help other students. I spent the next few months refining the workbook based on how I had actually used it while revising. I also developed mini-scenarios so people could practise applying the law rather than just memorising it. That was especially important to me as SQE2 requires you to bring lots of different legal principles together and apply them to one practical scenario.

Ultimately, I created Master Law Prep to give other students the structure I wish I had from the start. One clear place to work through the syllabus, build your own notes and feel more confident about what you actually need to know to pass the exams.
